Bowmore Child Enrichment Centre offers:

Our Educators
Our skilled Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECE’s) and Early Childhood Assistant’s (ECA’s) establish a flexible program in an inclusive, supportive, and non-discriminatory environment. Children’s ideas are the core of the curriculum that is based on the interests and needs of the children.
Open communication between and among staff, children, families and the school community are central to providing a warm and safe environment in which the children at EHCDC/BCEC can play, learn and thrive. Our staff provide programs to support our all-inclusive approach to child development including, but not limited to, sports, dramatic play and creative arts, self-help skills, and science experiences. Children are encouraged, but not forced, to participate in all activities.

Enhanced Programming
At Earl Haig Community Daycare/Bowmore Child Enrichment Centre, we strive to provide a program that is not only fun, but educational. Our child cares provide year round programming, including enhanced full day care during the Summer and March Breaks. Our Enhanced summer programming takes special care to fill the days with excursions around the local community and beyond, and welcomes special guests that showcase talents ranging from STEM to gross motor activities.

Snacks and Lunches
Nutrition
At Earl Haig Community Daycare/Bowmore Child Enrichment Centre all of our snacks and lunches are prepared on site by our two talented chefs and our menus are reviewed by a third party Registered Dietician.
Infants through Preschool receive two snacks and lunch daily while Kindergarten and School Aged children receive a morning and afternoon snack. Kindergarten and School Aged children are required to bring a lunch from home on a daily basis.
